Technical Notes:

Most of the images were made using Ilford HP5 or HP5 Plus, rated at ISO 400 and processed in D-76. The images are rough-printed on Ilford Multigrade IV RC and fine-printed on Ilford Multigrade IV Fiber. Final Prints are full-frame printed on 8x10 and 11x14 paper. The cameras used are a Leica M3 with a 35mm f/3.5 Summaron lens, and a Konica Hexar Silver--which I used exclusively in 1998 and 1999. The Hexar is light and the f/2.0 35mm lens is sharp, but also renders the out of focus areas in an exceptionally smooth manner--although I'm sometimes frustrated by the lack of a top shutter speed faster than 1/250 second.
